ALL LIVING FEAR

Lyrics

Home Too Soon

She was a dirty girl, in a dirty world.
Wanted money for her honey, had to pay to give her pearls.
Just a smoky bar, in another cheap hotel.
She displayed her wares to the clientele.
This girl, she caught your eye, though you're not sure why.
There was something in her manner, and you couldn't pass her by.
You stopped and asked her name but she gave no reply.
You offered her a drink; she just looked you in the eye.

Since dreaming is deceiving, I look again before I go.
Do others see the things I see, do others know the things I know.
A guiding light for me if you please,
So I may wake eventually.
What is it that you've done to me.
D>D>N>X> I can't be free.

The barman poured her glass while she just combed her hair.
She had two fingers of gin; the only ice was in her stare.
She gave her thanks with a nod
As she made a toast up to the stars.
Downed the drink in one and took your arm to leave the bar.
The car was parked outside, she got in without a word.
Checked her make-up in the mirror as you pulled out from the kerb.
The atmosphere was still as you sat inside the car.
You asked her for directions, all she said was "It's not far".

This girl knew all the moves as you lay upon the bed.
A mouth that felt like velvet, her lipstick cherry red.
No amateur could be this good you conceded with a sigh.
A knowledge from experience, that made you want to cry.
The cheap slut from the gutter had you wrapped up in her spell.
Your bit of fun had come undone, she played the part too well.
As vivid imagination takes it's toll upon your life.
Your fantasy reality as you slip inside your wife.
