4th December 2003 – Torquay • Town Hall![]() ![]() Line-up
Setlist
This was without doubt one of the highlights of All Living Fear since Matthew started the band in 1992. The town hall hasn't had any live gigs for as long as I can remember. In the 60s and 70s it played stage to the likes of Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Arthur Brown and The Who to name a few. When I found out that The Damned were playing, I contacted the promoter straight away to see if we could get on the bit. With a bit of discussion we managed it. Time was not in abundance that night, Basically the Town Hall is used for a flea market ever Thursday so the hall wasn't cleared until about 2 P.M., not leaving long for the PS and Lighting rig to be installed. The Damned themselves didn't soundcheck, Cpt and Pinch did basic checks, but that was it. As for the four support bands, it was a case of go on stage and play. Each support band has 15 minutes, with us being allowed 25, however we still had to cut that. In some ways it was good, I don't think we did a set as short as that for almost 10 years!!! The Gig went down very well, a lot that were there haven't seen the band in over 10 years, we got a lot of great feedback from people that were there and it did seem that we had even more people watching us than we did at Whitby. Here is a Feature from the Herald Express about the gig. Here is a Review from the Herald Express about the gig. Video Grabs from Video shot by Bob Ewens:
